Working in disaster relief means that you're working all day, every day. It's the most exhausting and rewarding work that I've ever done. I landed in Greece at the end of October and didn't have a day off until Christmas Day. (And I even did a little work that day!) My next day off was New Year's Day. Along with a handful of my coworkers, we traveled an hour and a half outside of Athens and down to the Temple of Poseidon. It was a beautiful drive and a lovely little break.
