Acropolis Wanderings

Athens lies at an incredible intersection of history, art and culture. As you could very well guess, the Acropolis is a significant part of that. Located on a hill in city center, the Acropolis can be spotted from all over town. Conversely, the it has beautiful views of the city and the Mediterranean, on a clear day. 

Not far from the structure itself is the Acropolis museum. On my last week in Athens, I finally got a chance to explore it. The building itself is beautiful and well-lit. I adore wandering around museums, and that particular day helped to quiet my busy mind.
